Stump Grinding

Stump grinding is a tree removal method in which a specialized machine, called a stump grinder, is used to reduce a tree stump to small wood chips. The process involves grinding the stump down to below the soil surface, which can then be covered with soil and re-seeded or landscaped. Stump grinding is typically performed after a tree has been cut down, but the stump remains in the ground. The process is a cost-effective and efficient alternative to physically removing the entire stump, and it helps to clear the area for other landscaping or construction projects.
